Dump runs

Donation drop-offs

Moving items within the home

Organizing a garage, basement, or storage area

Seasonal setup or cleanup

Small household tasks that are hard to get to

If you are not sure whether your task fits, just ask.

Recurring help

Some clients may benefit from occasional or recurring visits for tasks that build up over time.

Recurring help may be available weekly, biweekly, monthly, or seasonally by request.

Recurring visits may be useful for:
• Seniors who want regular help around the home
• Adults with disabilities who need practical support with everyday tasks
• Families helping a parent or loved one
• Busy households that need ongoing help keeping up
• Seasonal property tasks
• Ongoing organizing or household support

Recurring work depends on the type of tasks, location, schedule, safety, and availability.

Service packages

Good Neighbour may offer simple service packages based on client needs, task type, and schedule.

At launch, packages are handled by request rather than listed as fixed plans. This keeps things flexible and allows the work to match what each person or household actually needs.

Possible package-style options may include:
• Occasional home help
• Monthly task support
• Seasonal yard cleanup
• Organizing and decluttering help
• Ongoing support for everyday tasks

If there is clear demand, more formal service packages may be added in the future.

Estimates and clear communication

For many jobs, the best first step is to send a short description of what you need help with.

Helpful details include:

Your town or community

The type of task

Whether the work is indoors or outdoors

Any timing preferences

Whether tools, supplies, or disposal may be needed

Any details about stairs, pets, parking, access, or safety

After reviewing the request, we will let you know whether the task is a good fit and what the expected cost may look like.

Good Neighbour primarily serves Mapleton, Centre Wellington and nearby communities.

Some farther locations may involve travel considerations or an additional travel charge.

Some jobs may also involve extra costs such as:
• Materials
• Supplies
